We are currently seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to support the US sales efforts in the West. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
Primary Responsibilities
- Team with Western Region Director in support of sales activities into Clarus end user and channel prospects and customers.
- Exceed customer satisfaction and revenue attainment goals.
- Activities include technical presentations, product evaluation set-up & support, technical & customer strategy planning, product feature enhancement identification & description, and assisting Clarus customers & prospects in understanding the value proposition of ClarusIPC.
- OProvide technical expertise to apply, articulate and justify the ClarusIPC value proposition into new prospect opportunities.
- Provide product and market feedback to corporate.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco CallManager based IP Telephony.
- Experience working as an SE with a VC-funded, start-up vendor.
- 3-5 years minimum experience as a Systems/Sales Engineer in a vendor environment.
- Demonstrable & deep understanding of IP Telephony.
- Excellent customer and communications skills, written and verbal.
- A high degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
- The ability to effectively organize, manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Bachelor degree from a four year institution and Cisco Voice certification a plus.
- Demonstrated experience exceeding annual assigned revenue, customer attainment and customer satisfaction goals.
- A whatever-it-takes mentality and an unwillingness to accept anything other than success.
